Prince Bhardwaj is a dedicated researcher specializing in computer systems and security, currently pursuing his research at the University of Surrey, UK. His academic journey has been driven by a strong commitment to knowledge and a series of notable achievements.
Prince’s research foundation was built during his time at SRM University of Science & Technology, India, where he gained valuable experience as an undergraduate researcher and graduated with distinction in Computer Science. Throughout his studies, he maintained an impressive academic record, achieving a 3.4/4.0 overall GPA and a 3.6/4.0 GPA in his major, earning him the status of university rank holder. These achievements reflect his dedication to academic excellence and his ability to apply complex theoretical concepts to real-world challenges.
His research experience covers several areas within computer science. During his internship at Samsung Research & Development, India, Prince developed an energy-efficient xAPP for distributed HTAP systems, optimizing performance by using idle times for analytical tasks. He also contributed to a project aimed at improving instruction performance in compilers. In 2022, he was awarded a full scholarship as the only candidate selected from India for a research fellowship at Ben-Gurion International of Negev, Israel, where he was part of security focused research project.
One of Prince’s standout contributions is the design of a mitigation system to counter energy-oriented DDoS attacks on IoT networks. His work, published in a Scopus-indexed Springer journal, showcases his ability to apply machine learning techniques to enhance the security of smart home environments. Prince has also presented his research at various national and international conferences, where he received the Best Research Work Award from DRDO-CVRDE, further highlighting his impact in the field of computer science.
Prince’s research interests span operating systems, databases, high-performance computing, and artificial intelligence. These areas fuel his passion for advancing computer science through innovative research and practical applications.
